This is the first of two quilts that I made for a charity silent raffle kind of thing. Hopefully they will make the charity some cash!
This was made with Anna Maria Horner’s “Little Folks” line. This is the cotton viole that you may have seen in a few posts down. This quilt is sooooooooo soft and lovely. I have a different quilt top all ready to be quilted up and finished for myself, and I can’t wait to get it done.
These pictures looking a little wonky, and I’m in a steady state of flux with my picture-taking abilities, but I think they are getting better.
Here is the whole thing…
Here is another one that shows that it’s not actually as wonky as it appears in the above photo…
Here are some detail shots. I’m actually seriously considering getting more of the little folks and making a king size quilt kinda like this so I can wrap myself all up in it.
So there it is! This is all wrapped up and on its way to its destination, and I miss it already!
I think this is my favorite of the two charity quilts! I’ve never made a zigzag quilt but, I do love a great zigzag! So fresh and pretty and the colors even look soft.
Beautiful. Great quilting.
Love! The quilting on that is spectacular. I”m considering a king-size with the Little Folks voile. It will take me forever an aday to do it, butI think it will be fantastic.
Really love this quilt!
