So a couple of dear friends of mine are getting hitched this weekend, and of course that means QUILT TIME! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this quilt. I really, REALLY don’t want to give it away. Okay, so here is the whole enchilada…
And here are some closeups…
See the pink fabric in the middle of the right most block? The brighter pink fabric? In the picture below? I LOOOOOOVE that fabric.
This middle green fabric is another one of my faves. GOD I love this fabric!!
I love this fabric too… I love the bright pink next to the bluey teal.
I really love this whole block. What isn’t to love about it really though. YUMMY!!!
Side view. I really love this quilt. Seriously. SERIOUSLY.
Here is the ribbon I stuck on it. I made a little rose out of the ribbon, then a nice bow.
It goes out in the mail tomorrow. I really hope they love it!
Michaela your quilt is wonderful. I would love to see you. We have all the kids in this weekend but after we get past this I would love to get together with you.
Love You,
Aunt Mary
That would be great! I’m actually going home to Maine tomorrow, and will be back the following Wednesday, but aside from that the calander is pretty clear.
I know that Mom is planning on coming up sometime in the fall, so hopefully we can plan a visit for then too.
You are amazing! The quilt is GORGEOUS beyond belief! We’re having withdrawals, being out of town.
I’m so glad you guys like it 🙂 Although, I’m sure now you know why I’m always saying I need a new camera!
What a great quilt! Beautiful!
AWESOME!!!!!!
I want to look at it…and touch it…and sleep on it…and curl up in it. And look at it some more.Heck, I want to eat it it’s so beautiful! 🙂
I totally feel the same way! You are my kinda crazy!!
Oh, and Sherri… You won’t get an idea with that small quilt because it will be hung, BUT: These bed quilts? They just get softer and softer and SOFTER every time you wash them. So when you run your hands over them, with the texture of the quilting, it’s a total happy moment.
